Letters of Support
Requesting a Letter of Support

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) frequently partners on grant-funded initiatives with local, national and international organizations. M-DCPS enthusiastically welcomes all potential partnerships and we are more than willing to provide letters in support of these partnerships. However, receiving a letter of support from M-DCPS is contingent upon our office review and we will need ample time to process your request. Should you need a letter of support for your grant application, please contact our office at least 2 weeks prior to the deadline of the application. Additionally, you will need to submit a draft of the letter of support you are seeking, as well as the completed Letter of Support Form. Click here to access the Request for Letter of Support Form

Email the completed form along with a draft version of your letter to Ms. Mariana Castaneda Penchina at 327435@dadeschools.net. Please allow at least two weeks for our office to review and process the letter requested.

The Children’s Trust - Grant Applications

If your organization intends to request a letter of support from M-DCPS for any of The Children’s Trust grant applications due on March 25, 2022, please note that  letters of support from M-DCPS may only be provided by the Superintendent of Schools, not individual school site principals. Your request must be submitted through the M-DCPS Office of Grants Administration’s online Request for Letter of Support Form. A copy of the draft letter must also be emailed to Ms. Eva M. Regueira, Executive Director, Grants Administration at emregueira@dadeschools.net.

Please note that M-DCPS will be closed for Spring Break during the week of March 21 to March 25, 2022. All requests for Letters of Support must be submitted by Friday, March 4, 2022 in order to guarantee the letter will be provided prior to the Spring Break Recess.
